Mirroring for Empowerment Incorporation Practice (For Initiates of Rite of Return and Mirroring Workshops) (Copy)

(This is the foundational practice for VR incorporation that can we done any time when the defecation hits the rotary oscillator or for regular wellness).

Veteran Rites Monthly Mirroring for Empowerment Practice. This is a hybrid circle on the first Saturday of every month where we connect to the Four Shields of Human Nature, take an intention to the land from wherever we are for 30 minutes, and then practice mirroring each other's story for a few minutes in mini mirror teams.

This circle is open to Initiates in the Rite of Return ceremony and participants in the Veteran Rites mirroring workshops. It's pretty awesome, and it's a practice, not perfection. Great way to stay in the practices!

Facilitation is veteran volunteer driven and led by the incredibles - Sheila, Steve, and/or Shari. Hope to see some of you there!


We’ll come together and...

• Have a short grounding (let me know if you'd like to offer one)
• Have brief 1 to 2-minute "handshake" check-ins
• Have a review of the four shields
• Share the invitation/exercise/prompt
• Preferably you’ll take this outside, but if it’s raining, you’re not up for a walk, etc., you can go to your backyard, hold a plant 🌿, whatever you have available!
• Please have a timepiece with you so we can practice good time discipline. ⌚
• Come back together and go into breakout rooms of about 3 people (5/5/5 minute shares and reflection - same as in the workshop - 45 minutes total)
• When sharing and mirroring, we ask that you be mindful of the time and other people. The longer someone shares or mirrors, the *less* time someone else gets to share or mirror.
• If you choose to rejoin us when you're outside, please ensure that you have data service! We'd be really sad if it were not the case and you can't rejoin us.
