Council · Listening · Belonging

No one should have to carry the whole story alone.

Circles of Return are gatherings across the military family for honest speech, deep listening, shared experience, and belonging without performance.

What Council means here

Council is a structured practice of speaking and listening. It is not group therapy, debate, advice giving, or a place to perform expertise.

Speak from lived experience.

Bring what is true for you. Do not speak for every Veteran, every family, or everyone who served.

Listen without fixing.

Attention can be a form of service. Advice belongs only where it is invited and appropriate.

Protect the circle.

Confidentiality, consent, clear limits, and trained facilitation make honesty possible.

Public, Initiate, and practitioner circles

Some circles meet online. Some gather in person. Some welcome eligible adults across the military family. Others are for Rite of Return Initiates, alumni, Guides, or trained mirroring practitioners.
